  • Yes, and this is more common than you might think. Some travellers join a scheduled group departure for the heritage portion and then add a few private days of cultural immersion at either end. This hybrid approach gives you the group bonding during the shared heritage experience and the personal flexibility for everything else.

  • Adjustments before the trip are standard — most private travellers make changes as the journey approaches. Minor adjustments during the trip (swapping the order of days, extending time at a site, adding a rest day) are accommodated in real time by your custodian. Major structural changes during the trip may have logistical constraints depending on accommodation and transportation bookings.

  • Yes. We have hosted family reunions with more than 55 members. Large groups are sometimes split into sub-groups for certain activities but essentially the whole group travels together, eats together and experience life changing moments together. We assign a dedicated coordinator for large families and recommend planning months in advance.

  • Absolutely, and most families prefer this option. A private tour lets us adjust the pace, modify the itinerary based on your children's ages, and keep your family together for every moment. The heritage sites and cultural immersion are all included. The only difference is you are travelling with your own family rather than joining other travellers.
