The relevance of Nature can not be debated and for most, is a source of healing both physically and psychologically. This tour focuses on exploring nature destinations like waterfalls and botanical gardens. It also involves a bit of hiking  to see the umbrella rock and the three headed palm tree and enjoy a beautiful view of other mountains from above.

Itinerary

Tour Location: Eastern Region.

Tour begins at agreed pick up point in Accra

Day 1

Boti water Falls

River Pawnpawn takes its source from Ahenkwa-Amalakpo before falling over an igneous rock outcrop at the Boti Langmase popularly known as Boti falls. The fall had been hidden in the forest and later discovered by a white catholic priest. The Boti falls is made up of the upper falls and the lower falls which the locals describe as male and female.

Umbrella Rock

It is a mysterious rock that looks like an umbrella. One can climb it to enjoy the beautiful forest that lies beyond it.

Three Headed Palm Tree

The three–headed-palm tree is the next stop after the Umbrella rock. It is about a 20 minutes hike from it. The three –headed-palm tree is a tree with one stem but three heads which are so many years old. It is really a fascinating sight to observe. Drop off back to your hotel in Accra

Day 2

Aburi Botanical Garden

Aburi garden is a very beautiful and popular destination found on the hills of Aburi in the Eastern part of Ghana, a few kilometers away from the main city, Accra. The garden is made up of hundreds of plants which have a lot of medicinal uses, some of which are used to cure many illnesses. They are used to make different spices and are also used for beautification purposes. There is also a carved tree which looks like a real dead tree which represents the struggles of life. Most of the trees were planted by some colonial masters, and other important person leaders around Africa.

Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm

Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm is located at Akuapem Mampong, in the Eastern part of Ghana. Tourists get to experience a demonstration of the actual planting of cocoa seeds, the processes undertaken by the farmer, the harvesting and drying of the seeds and pods. The tour guide walks tourists through the farm whiles pondering on the various stages of cocoa processing into raw cocoa powder to the stage from which the Ghanaian and other industries manufacture the world’s favourite chocolates, ice creams and many other chocolate products. Drive back to Accra and Drop off. The tour ends after drop off.
